Black School'd envisions a future where we are the driving force behind equitable, inclusive, and sustainable spaces that serve as catalysts for growth, inclusivity, and positive change within the Black community in BC schools and universities. Through expert consultation, advocacy, comprehensive support, and groundbreaking research, we hope to transform ideas into dynamic platforms that create profound and lasting impact throughout BC's educational landscape.
What We Do
We are focused on combating anti-Black racism in Metro Vancouver high schools, with the belief that confronting anti-Black racism is an integral part of combating racism in general.
Who We Are
We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Community Resources
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
